Luciana was born and raised in Salvador, Brazil and has been living in NY since 2017. The best memories of her childhood are the weekend trips to her grandfather’s farm, which was located one hour away from the city where she lived. That is when she discovered her love for animals. She got her first dog Rick when she was 10 years old. It was love at first sight! Now, she owns a high energy Australian Cattle Dog named Mickey and they go on many adventures together. Fun fact: she started her own pet sitting business in 2021 so she could keep up with Mickey's energy!

Gerry admits that she spoils her dog rotten. However, all the love she receives in return is well worth it. A dog lover from early childhood, she has been blessed with lots of love from many different breeds. Her spoiled rotten pooch is a 160 pound St. Bernard named Poitin. Poitin believes she is a lapdog and yes provides Gerry with lots of her love juice, sometimes called drool. But that’s her baby. Through Pawfect for you, Gerry looks forward to caring for your pup and sharing your day in this very special way.

How Does it Work?

While each occasion is a little different, here is a general summary of The Pawfect Process ⟶

Start to think about how you would like to incorporate your pet(s) into your day. Think about the timeline - what time we should arrive and how long we should stay. Will your pet(s) be there for the first look? Part of the ceremony? If you don't know exactly what you want, that's ok too! We can talk about what plans you have in place already and what other pet parents really enjoyed. This is a great time to schedule a free phone consult.

Step 01 / 06

Once we have your details, we'll send you a formal estimate for you to review. Each quote is tailored to the couple, the pet(s), and their needs.

Step 02 / 06

To reserve your date and sitter, we require a deposit. The deposit will guarantee that we're available for your date, and prevent it from being reserved by someone else. It will also allow us to make the “Pawfect” plans for you and your fur baby! Often times, your final timeline may not yet be locked and some details may change between the date you book with us and your wedding day. Rest assured, we’ll discuss any potential changes during the final meeting, and we'll adjust the timeline and invoice at that time.

Step 03 / 06

Once we receive the confirmation, we schedule your final meeting, book your sitter, and send you a questionnaire to fill out. If you don't know all the details at this stage, its ok - we will finalize them in the next step.

Step 04 / 06

Our final coordination meeting takes place about 3 weeks before your event date. This helps to ensure we all have all the correct information and finalize all the last minute fine details. After the final call, we'll send you the final checklist and timeline for approval, as well as your final invoice.
